Mission:

The mission of the Cornerstone of Faith Christian Church Armor Bearers Ministry is to attend to the humanity of those who convey God’s word as they concentrate on divinity of the message; directly serving the men and women of God through prayer, patience, and passion. To connect with the vision of God for our church through humble service to God’s anointed messengers.

Mission:

The mission of the Cornerstone Cares Hospitality Ministry is to offer support to parishioners as witnesses to the faithfulness of God and promotes Christian growth among those who are bereaved, distressed, spiritually-conflicted, or health-challenged.

Objectives:

• Coordinate care support for parishioners experiencing short-term and long-term illnesses
• Provide grief support for parishioners experiencing losses
• Offer opportunities for parishioners to develop a deeper life of faith
• Extend wellness instruction to parishioners recovering from various types of afflictions and infirmities
• Train laity to provide support for parishioners experiencing illness, grief and crises that impede general health and spiritual well being
• Celebrate the faith victories of parishioners

Mission:  

The Helping Hands Evangelism & Outreach Ministry is committed to ministering to the needs of our community of faith, the church universal, and the community worldwide.  Our goal is to make kingdom connections by ministering to all, regardless of race, culture, and social status. We stand on the principle that is set forth in II Peter 3:9 that God wants no man to perish, but have everlasting life. We believe that the Holy Spirit empowers us to lead the unbeliever to repentance, salvation, and a relationship with the savior of Jesus Christ. The Helping Hands Ministry accomplishes these goals by street witnessing, providing prayer and assistance in a Word-centered church, and meeting spiritual and physical community needs through outreach.

Our mission is to nurture the development of godly men through the use of biblical principles and to focus on building stronger men who have a passion for God, their homes, the church and our communities. We endeavor to offer wholesome godly fellowship that will strengthen the men of the church family, thus empowering our communities to overcome all adversities.  

Objective:

Our objective is to provide the spiritual direction men need in every area of their lives.

• To share the good news of Jesus Christ as we boldly reach out and minister to other men in a lost world.
• To have the heart of fellowship walking together in the knowledge and power of the Spirit of God as we develop a trusting relationship with each other.
• To have men be aware of what’s going on in our church family so we can step up, lead and serve where God needs us.
• To have all men become true spiritual heads of their household and lead their families by example.

Mission:

The purpose of the Music & Arts Ministry is to impart ministry that glorifies the preached Word of God through music, visual art, dance, drama, and technical art. The group of psalmists, musicians, worship leaders, dancers, dramatists, and technical personnel usher God's people beyond the veil into the presence of His magnificence. Music and artsare means by which a worshipper may experience the very presence of God. There is a song whose lyrics transport us to His throne. The music and dance, in all forms, celebrate His Majesty. In this celebration, our music and arts ministries serve as vehicles to create and develop connections for the praise and worship of our Lord. Worshipers are invited to become part of the Music & Arts Ministry. There is something for everyone.

Mission:

The mission of the Prayer Ministry is to lift up a congregation of believers who actively engage in all manner of prayers with the demonstration of God’s anointing in healing, deliverance, and direction—resulting in a greater intimacy in worship of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Its mission is to witness the compassion and Lordship of Jesus Christ as it is manifested through fervent, effectual prayer; thus Compassion Driven Prayer is our aim. Mission:

The Counseling Ministry provides counseling to individuals, parents, and groups and is based on the principles of GOD’s WORD - The Bible.  The Counseling Ministry witnesses about God’s love and healing power and helps make Disciples for Him.  For confidential Christian Counseling, please contact Dr. Terescah Lemon, Director of Cornerstone Counseling Services, at counseling@cornerstoneoffaithchurch.org to schedule an appointment.

Mission:

The Women's Ministry serves to link women to ministry opportunities that will nurture their spiritual development and provide a venue for them to share their spiritual gifts. It is our mission to minister to women and help them to realize the divine purpose for which they were created.     

Objectives:

• To challenge women to model the love of Jesus Christ through outreach and service.
• To empower women by helping them to understand their divine purpose.
• To train women to become Women after God's own heart.
• To equip women with the tools needed to balance ministry to self and others.
• To help women to recognize their spiritual gifts and to use those gifts to glorify God.
• To promote the daily study of God's Words through prayer and meditation.
• To encourage women to become mentors one to another in the body of Christ.
• To create a safe, secure, nurturing environment that fosters positive relationship building.

Mission:

The Youth Ministry is committed to disciple youth by partnering with the parents and care givers of elementary, middle and high school students. We minister to the youth by providing opportunities for personal and spiritual growth. We seek to provide experiences that significantly impact the development of the youth through Bible study, providing evangelism opportunities, fellowship through a variety of activities and excursions, service in various youth ministry organizations and by extending worship and fellowship experiences with other churches and ministry organizations.
